Giallo Cicco, mi ci ficco

Qui Aru vinse nel 2017, e il primato restò in Sky ma passò da Geraint Thomas a Chris Froome (che qui aveva vinto nel 2012, e in giallo andò Bradley Wiggins).  Qui non ha vinto Giulio Ciccone, secondo dietro il belga Dylan Teuns, compagno di Nibali alla Bahrain-Merida. Ma il "Cicco" - che di Nibali compagno lo sarà l'anno prossimo alla Trek-Segafredo - l'ha sfilata per 6" a un francese, Julian Alaphilippe.  Con Geraint Thomas e Thibaud Pinot l'ultimo big ad arrendersi su quell'impennata brutale, allungata quest'anno con un sadico sterrato di un km al 24% di pendenza.
