How'd He Get to College Park?
Wiley was recruited by current assistant coach Dustin Hill and former assistant coach Dalonte Hill. The 2014 recruiting class changed tempo at Maryland after bringing in Wiley and another local top-75 guard named Melo Trimble. Both played for Washington-based AAU teams; Wiley at Team Takeover and Trimble at D.C. Assault.
Dream Season

Wiley serves as the contrasting offensive-minded two-guard compared to starter Rasheed Sulaimon's focus on defense. He shoots closer to his classmate Jared Nicken's 3-point numbers at 39 percent, but also slashes to the rim. He scores in quick bursts, and stops settling for step-back jumpers.

2015-16 Prospectus
Coach Mark Turgeon has already said he wants to play big for as long as he can, meaning Nickens isn't likely to play many minutes at the small forward. Duke transfer Sulaimon is the assumed starter, and Wiley will have to compete for the same minutes he fought for with Nickens last season.

Wiley averaged 13.5 minutes per game to Nickens' 19.3, which had a lot to do with shooting numbers. Nickens was on for the second half of the season and averaged 39 percent shooting from behind the arc, while Wiley connected on just 32.9 percent.

Wiley is less one-dimensional, posting better passing and rebounding numbers, but with an already stacked lineup, he will have to stand-out during the regular season if he wants to play come tournament time.
