How'd He Get to College Park?
Brantley started his career at Marshall, but transferred to Odessa Community College without playing a game after his head coach Tom Herrion was fired. Last October he committed to transfer to Maryland where he will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Dream Season:
Brantley steps in as the perfect complement to Melo Trimble off the bench. He scores 5 or so points per outing, but thrives in the passing game, commanding Maryland's talented big men and wings. Brantley also allows Trimble to spend some time at the two-guard where he can catch-and-shoot threes when he's hot.
Up Next:
Next up is the team's unquestioned best dancer.
*Question 2: Ok so maybe the best dancer is up for debate, instead next up is the big man who Mark Turgeon thinks has a chance at Defensive Player of the Year.
