Minsk 2019: Cycling – Track

Cycling on wooden indoor tracks regularly draws large crowds. There will be 20 Track Cycling events (10 for each gender) at MINSK 2019 which will involve 316 best cyclists from across Europe. The competitions will take place at the MINSK

MINSK ARENA VELODROME

Capacity: 2,000 seats
Construction status: Permanent – complete

The facility consists of the inclined constructions covered with rack wood flooring made of Siberian spruce wood. The length of the cycle track is 250m, the width is 7.5m; there are two curves (left and right), the angle of inclination is 41 degrees. The maximum speed is up to 110km/h. The inside of the track can be also used for other sports such as badminton, table tennis, futsal, basketball, volleyball.
