Eintracht Frankfurt recorded an eighth consecutive season with double digit wins and expect to do it again during this campaign. Omar Marmoush will look to build on a 12-goal season, but Frankfurt will need to find a way to score more than 60 goals if they want to challenge for one of the coveted Champions League spots.

Frankfurt was the only Bundesliga team to beat Bayern Munich in last season’s Hinrunde, but fell short of the season sweep with a 2-1 loss in April. On paper, this year’s squad doesn’t look greatly improved or diminished. Former Bayern assistant Dino Toppmöller will be challenged to produce positive results at a club that hasn’t kept a coach for more than three seasons since Friedhelm Funkel (2004-09).
