Augsburg wants to qualify for a UEFA Conference League spot this season.

Augsburg had their best finish since 2015. On the flip side, Augsburg still hasn’t completed a season in the top flight of the Bundesliga with a positive goal differential. Augsburg finished with an even goal differential in 2014 and 2015.

Augsburg has one win all time in Bayern Munich’s stadium and last season was no different. Bayern Munich also stole three points from Augsburg in the Rückrunde.

Ermedin Demirović led the team with 15 Bundesliga goals and was sold to Stuttgart this offseason. Steve Mounié will take up the mantle at forward.
