Can Marvin Ducksch become the next great Bremen scorer?

Werder Bremen has always been a consistently mid-table club in the Bundesliga but have struggled to adapt in recent years. Bremen was relegated in 2021 but climbed right back up to the top division. By all standards, Bremen overachieved last season with a ninth place finish. They’ll need Marvin Ducksch to produce his fourth consecutive double-digit scoring season.

Last season, Bremen lost the opener to Bayern Munich 4-0 while only maintaining 28% possession. Bremen completely flipped the script in January, handing Bayern its first Bundesliga shutout of the campaign.
